Woodruff Sweitzer (WS) recently announced the addition of Alex Nordlund and Rob Koch to its Minneapolis/St. Paul office and Andrew Grinch to its Columbia, Missouri, office.
Nordlund joins WS as content marketing coordinator. Prior to his new position, Nordlund was a public relations intern at WS. He recently graduated from University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Koch joins the content team as distribution manager. Koch previously worked in broadcast journalism for 20 years, where he earned two Emmys for his news and weather coverage.
Grinch joins the agency as content director. Grinch previously worked at the University of Missouri as an associate athletic director for external operations and content. His areas of oversight included marketing and sales, ticket office, online operations and broadcast operations.
Jake Gibbs has been promoted to editorial manager. Gibbs’ experience as a newspaper reporter and editor, and his background in editorial writing for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets will serve him well in his expanded role with the content marketing team. He will work closely with the visual editor and the creative team to build inventive ways to develop compelling content.
In 2015, Woodruff Sweitzer experienced a record year for billings based on both current and new client work. Staff hires in all offices were a direct result of this growth.
