WealthEngine Releases New White Paper to Help Nonprofit Organizations Improve Their Fundraising Effectiveness Via Social Media

WealthEngine, a provider of sophisticated wealth identification and prospect research solutions, announced the release of a new white paper, Fundraising's Social Revolution: How Social Media is Changing Nonprofit Culture and Practice, that provides nonprofits with actionable strategies on how to implement social networking across their organizations, in everything from marketing to prospect research to front-line fundraising.

Organizations and individuals who are interested in getting started with social media or wanting to take it to the next level will find foundational information, as well as recommendations from well-known experts and practitioners, such as Beth Kanter, author of The Networked Nonprofit and Beth's Blog: How Nonprofits Can Use Social Media, and Dan Michel, digital marketing manager at Feeding America. These insights, as well as WealthEngine's survey of 1,300 prospect development and fundraising professionals on their social media activity, helped shape the strategies outlined in the paper including how to:

  • Create a social media culture
  • Implement new social technologies
  • Apply best practices & tips
  • Follow ethical guidelines

"The first part of the white paper walks readers through how to become a social nonprofit, from developing a social culture to getting started with social technology to building and nurturing social communities," said Sally Boucher, WealthEngine's director of research and primary author of the paper, in a company release. "The second part dives more deeply into how organizations can leverage social communities to support organizational objectives, and how to measure the success and ROI of these objectives."

Download the white paper here. Further information on the white paper findings will be shared during a free webinar on Tuesday, December 11, from 1-2 p.m. ET. Register for the webinar here.
