W2O Group, a network of innovative analytics-driven, digital-first marketing and communications firms, announced that Mary Corcoran, formerly chief operating officer (COO) of Edelman’s New York office, will join the firm as president of Twist, the second largest firm in the W2O Group network.
Corcoran made critical contributions in a diverse set of roles over the last decade of exponential growth at Edelman, the largest independent firm in the industry. Before becoming COO in the agency’s New York office, she was part of the team that ran and built the digital practice of Edelman West to over $30 million. She specializes in building business, nurturing teams and working cross-functionally to deliver optimized client solutions and experiences.
“Mary is a veteran steeped in digital communications who will strengthen Twist while adding another dimension to our overall W2O leadership team,” said W2O Founder and CEO Jim Weiss. “With experience across B2B and consumer tech, healthcare and other segments, she is the kind of true-blue integrated marketer we are cultivating as we strive to become the best for our people and our clients, and to redefine the modern communications and marketing firm for the digital age.”
Annalise Coady, who served as Twist president over the last two years, will focus on growth in the EMEA region as president of W2O-EMEA, based in the London office, which has grown to more than 50 people during her tenure.
“To fully capitalize on what we see as a major opportunity to serve our clients’ increasing international needs, Annalise will work in close partnership with our operating companies and global practice and client leaders to focus on building our capabilities and offices in the EMEA region, where we expect accelerated growth over the next few years,” added Weiss.
