The O’Donnell Agency (www.theodonnellagency.com), a West Palm Beach-based public relations and digital media companies, has added four new people to the firm’s West Palm Beach and Miami offices. Tony Theissen has joined the agency as Senior Brand Manager and Media Strategist; Armando Lazo now heads O’Donnell’s award-winning design team as Art Director, German Blanco is the new Senior Graphic Designer and Maycee Duke is the firm’s Accounts Coordinator.
Theissen oversees editorial messaging and media outreach across for a number of clients in the fields of education, professional services and economic development. Most recently he was managing editor at WPEC-TV (CBS12) where he supervised all aspects of newsgathering and reporting, and planned and coordinated major news events.
Lazo oversees the agency’s creative department. He previously served as art director for IDG Latin America, where he created and oversaw the design of PC World en Español magazine in print and across digital platforms, and was responsible for designing and maintaining visual media campaigns and advertising.
Blanco comes to O’Donnell from Gaumard Scientific in Miami and brings with him a skill set that includes identity development, illustration, package design, web design, photo editing and more. In his role as senior graphic designer, he will apply his talents to the advertising, design and digital media services for O’Donnell’s clients in the education, real estate, economic development, and new products sectors.
Fresh from Florida State University, Duke has joined the agency as accounts coordinator. She provides account support for O’Donnell’s retail, economic development, education, consumer products and tourism sectors. She also coordinates social media programs for many of the agency’s clients.
