Spire Public Relations Wins Gold At the Canadian Public Relations Society's National Awards of Excellence

Spire Public Relations (http://spirepr.ca) won gold for the Best Canadian Marketing Communications Campaign of the Year for "Trolling for Riders of the Halloween Ghost Train," at the 2012 National Awards of Excellence, presented by the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS). Victor Vrsnik, Principal of SPIRE Public Relations, accepted the award at the gala dinner.

"Winning at a national competition is a real shot in the arm," Vrsnik said. "It’s recognition of a job well done, and a real honour to be recognized by your peers."

The National Awards of Excellence are Canada’s Olympics for the PR industry. Established in 1962, the coveted awards salute the best in Canadian public relations and communications management.

The Canadian Marketing Communications Campaign of the Year award recognizes outstanding programs that integrate public relations, marketing and advertising strategies to help market products, services or places to external audiences.
