Scott Beaudoin Joins RF|Binder as Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Managing Director of Corporate & Brand Purpose

RF|Binder, an independent public relations and integrated communications firm, announced it has appointed Scott Beaudoin as Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Managing Director of Corporate & Brand Purpose. He most recently led the global CSR & Sustainability practice role at a strategic communications firm for eight years.

The appointment is a strategic move by RF|Binder to leverage Beaudoin’s 20+ years of experience working within the c-suite of Fortune 100 companies in the growing importance of purpose-driven strategies and communications.  He has collaborated with some of the world’s most respected brands, including P&G, Kellogg’s, Hasbro, General Mills, Sodexo and Pfizer.

“We believe that there is a tremendous opportunity in the sustainability and CSR area.  As impact investing continues to grow, companies are going to have to focus more of their attention what they are doing in this area,” said RF|Binder CEO Amy Binder. “Scott brings unmatched experience and knowledge of how to leverage the power of corporate and brand purpose to help businesses stand out and create a competitive advantage for all stakeholders, from investors to consumers. We are privileged to welcome a proven and globally-recognized thought leader to our team as we make a stronger commitment and investment in this area.”

Speaking on the move to RF|Binder, Beaudoin commented, “Today, purpose isn’t just a practice on the sidelines, but a true differentiator in business growth, innovation and reputation.  I’m fortunate to find an agency and a CEO who understands the power it has to transcend business and strategic communications. As the current marketplace has proved time and time again, profit and purpose are no longer mutually exclusive and RF|Binder is the perfect independent consultancy to lead the marketplace.”
