San Diego County Vintners Association Retains Clearpoint

Clearpoint Agency has been selected by the San Diego County Vintners Association (SDCVA) to manage its public relations and digital strategies. The SDCVA is a non-profit membership organization focused on supporting San Diego’s extensive and growing winemaking community.

One of the SDCVA’s main goals is to put San Diego back on the map as California’s first viable wine region, and highlight the county’s ideal climate for the growth of multiple wine varieties. California is home to more wineries than any other state due to its weather and geography, and San Diego has recently gained attention from first-generation wine growers and vintners who recognize its potential as the next hot region for wine making in United States.

“It’s a pivotal time for San Diego wine makers. Over the last few years wine enthusiasts have come to recognize our region as producing world-class, award-winning wines. The SDCVA promotes and supports our burgeoning wine community, and helps educate consumers on the exciting wines being made in our county. We enjoy working with collaborative groups such as the SDVCVA, which represents the interests of an industry made entirely of locally owned companies,” said Clearpoint Agency President Bonnie Shaw.

Clearpoint utilizes public relations, media outreach and digital marketing strategies such as social media management, content development, and website marketing to increase brand presence – all tailored to an individual client’s needs.

“Clearpoint Agency is well known for its strategic insights, and ability to garner media attention and social media audiences for its clients,” stated Linda McWilliams, president of the SDCVA. “They have prior experience working with non-profits, which means we can rely on them to make informed decisions. And their recent work in the craft brewery industry provides valued insights in promoting a fast-growing industry that shares similarities with the wine business. We are confident Clearpoint will help us raise awareness of San Diego’s expanding wine region, and grow our membership.”
