Salerno Promoted to Vice President at Rubenstein Public Relations

Richard Rubenstein, president of Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR; www.rubensteinpr.com), announced that Laura Salerno has been promoted to Vice President as she continues to lead client accounts in various practices at the agency.  Salerno joined RPR in 2008 and was an Associate Vice President at the firm, following promotions from Senior Account Executive and Associate Publicist.

“With an irrefutable talent for securing high-profile coverage, Laura is an extremely dedicated publicist and has been an invaluable and integral asset to RPR for the past five years,” Rubenstein said. “Her incredible work ethic and integrity in client service has resulted in long-standing client relationships with a diverse roster of accounts that she manages in the hospitality, consumer, real estate, non-profit and entertainment industries.  I am confident that Laura will excel as the newest member of our senior team and continue to build upon the successes she has achieved at RPR.”

Salerno is a New York City board member of Friends of Karen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emotional, financial and advocacy support for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.  She is also an active member of the Long Island Volunteer Center, donating her time to its annual Prom Dress Boutiques, which provides prom and special occasion dresses and accessories donated from the community to young women who are unable to afford a new gown for prom or graduation events.
