Resolute Consulting Adds Four Professionals to Senior Leadership Team

Resolute Consulting has hired four experienced professionals to join its senior leadership team and elevate the firm’s national presence. Respected branding and marketing expert Ann Cunniff has been named Chief Creative Officer and will take over Resolute’s in-house creative team, expanding Resolute’s capabilities to provide full-service insight to its clients. B.R. Lane, a seasoned private sector executive and government specialist, has been named as an executive vice president, bringing to the firm her expertise of corporate, civic and public-private partnerships. Meredith Shiner, a nationally recognized reporter, has joined the firm as a vice president, charged with providing strategic media and communications counsel to clients. Lisa Fernandez has been hired as a vice president in the firm’s Phoenix office, bringing her deep Arizona roots and experience to the firm’s growing practice in the Sun Valley.

“For fourteen years, Resolute has established itself as a national leader in public affairs and strategic communications by embracing a client-centric approach to its portfolio of work and by attracting top talent in the field,” said Greg Goldner, Chief Executive Officer of Resolute Consulting. “Adding Ann, B.R., Meredith and Lisa to our dynamic team reflects the best of Resolute: the firm’s commitment to a comprehensive approach to client services, its history of success with diverse and engaging clients, and most important, its promising future, for which our expectations continue to grow because of additions like the ones Resolute is announcing today.

Ann is a branding, marketing and strategic communications thought leader and will be merging her successful firm, Chicago Creative Works, into Resolute, taking the reins of our in-house creative team and expanding the possibilities of what we can do for their clients as they seek to breakthrough on a national stage.

B.R. is a Harvard-educated, former longtime gaming executive and dedicated public servant. B.R. built her reputation by navigating complex business, regulatory and political landscapes as the manager of regulatory compliance at International Game Technology, the director of the Illinois lottery, the interim director of the Gary/Chicago International Airport and deputy mayor and chief of staff to the mayor in Gary, her hometown.

Meredith is a nationally recognized reporter who brings her writing and communications talent, as well as a deep knowledge of politics and policy, to Resolute. Meredith spent seven years in Washington, D.C. working for respected media outlets Politico, Roll Call and Yahoo News. She covered two presidential campaigns, two midterm elections, Congressional leadership and health care and Wall Street reform, building a network of powerful national media and political contacts while also expanding her portfolio to include radio, television and a high-profile social media presence.

Lisa is an experienced political professional who has earned her reputation for excellence through nearly a decade of political campaigning, fundraising and strategic communications, in Arizona and across the country. A fifth generation Arizonan, Lisa most recently served as Chief Development Officer of Educare Arizona, a non-profit that seeks to improve access to quality early childhood education in the state to all children regardless of income. Previous to her role at Educare Arizona, Lisa ran Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton’s 2015 re-election effort.
