Physique 57 Selects BARKER as AOR to Handle Studio’s VOD Service

Full-service advertising and digital agency BARKER announced that it has won the creative assignment for popular New York-based fitness and barre studio Physique 57. BARKER, the studio’s first AOR for its video on demand service, will handle strategy, creative, and media planning and buying.

“We selected BARKER because we admired its captivating creative work,” said Douglas McQuery, Digital Product and Business Development at Physique 57. “From the beginning, it was clear that it had a deep understanding of our brand, the industry, all problems we might face, and how to spot and tackle opportunities for growth. By hiring BARKER, we felt that we hired an extension of ourselves.”

“At BARKER, we pride ourselves on aligning with clients who are changing the game in their own industries,” said John Barker, Founder and Chief Idea Officer of BARKER. “There’s a reason why Physique 57 has such passionate devotees – the studio has revolutionized the fitness sphere through efficiency and effectiveness.”

He continued: “Video provides for one of the most captive mediums to showcase a brand’s story. We’re looking forward to capturing and amplifying the essence of what makes it special in order to catapult it forward.”
BARKER is currently in the process of developing a new work for Physique 57’s video on demand service. The campaign is slated to go to market in November.
