Oceania Cruises Selects Spring O'Brien as AOR in North America

Spring O’Brien has been selected by Oceania Cruises to handle its North American public relations outreach.  The New York-based agency specializes in travel and hospitality PR, and past cruise experience includes Oceania’s sister company, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Spring O’Brien Senior Vice President Lauren Kaufman will oversee the account. At Oceania she reports to Tim Rubacky, head of public relations. “I’m thrilled to be working with Lauren and her team and rekindle our relationship with Spring O’Brien,” said Rubacky.

The agency will leverage its relationships with A-list editors and journalists to promote Oceania’s four brand pillars (cuisine, design, service and destinations) with the goal of raising the luxury line’s profile, creating buzz and garnering bookings.

“I love the cruise industry and am extremely excited to be onboard with Tim and the Oceania team,” said Kaufman. “The line has myriad assets and deserves a greater share of voice, which we intend to produce.” Kaufman, a 19-year veteran at Spring O’Brien, ran Radisson Seven Seas Cruises’ PR program for eight years, including the line’s successful rebranding to Regent.
