MWW Hires Eis as SVP, Corporate Communications

MWW (www.mww.com) announced that Shannon Eis has joined MWW as senior vice president, corporate communications. She will play a key role in guiding corporate reputation, crisis management and executive eminence programs for some of the firm's top clients. Eis most recently led internal and executive communications at Condé Nast.

In addition to her role at MWW, Eis will continue to serve as an on-air contributor for the "Late Show with David Letterman" as their play expert, as well as other media outlets, print, digital and broadcast, where she discusses important parenting topics, children's issues and trends. An experienced writer in both consumer and business channels, she has driven awareness of key issues, and thought leadership platforms for the brands she's supported.

"Shannon is a rare talent and her range of experience covers counseling world class brands on corporate reputation and crisis strategy to serving as a nationally-recognized media expert on parenting and consumer matters," said Michael W. Kempner, president and CEO at MWW. "She brings a record of success guiding internal and external corporate communications programs across a range of industries from both the agency and in-house side. Her tremendous media acumen and deep industry connections will be an asset to both our agency and our clients."

Previously, Eis spent seven years at Kaplow Communications as senior vice president where she headed the corporate communications practice group. She has also served as communications lead for the Toy Industry Association, and has held other in-house positions at Workshare Technology, a software development company, and Hilton Worldwide.

Eis will be based in MWW's New York office.
