Mike Sloan Joins Coyne PR as Chief Financial Officer

Coyne Public Relations (www.coynepr.com) announced that Chief Financial Officer Mike Sloan has joined the agency. As CFO, Sloan will lead the agencies finance and accounting operations from the firm’s headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.

In his new position, Sloan will establish financial policies and procedures, direct financial strategy and will be responsible for the budgeting, auditing, treasury and real estate for Coyne PR. Sloan will also contribute to the overall business planning and strategy for the agency.

“Mike’s extensive background in finance and operations will be a tremendous addition to the dynamic leadership at the agency,” said Tom Coyne, CEO. “I look forward to working closely with him to grow our business and continue to provide the best service to our clients.”

Sloan has over 20 years of financial and administrative experience with public relations agencies. His past experience includes serving as chief client financial officer for Ogilvy PR, vice president of finance at Ketchum and chief financial officer of U.S. operations for Edelman. Most recently, Sloan worked with Taylor. He began his career with Cohn and Wolfe and was part of the Young & Rubicam shared financial group.
