The division of Continuing Education and UCLA Extension has tapped Michael A. Buczkowski as Chief Marketing Officer.
As CMO, Buczkowski is responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies which build the UCLA Extension and Continuing Education brand, leading to increased awareness, revenue and relevance.
“Buczkowski’s arrival comes at a critical time as we reimagine learning for Millennials, Gen X, and Z,” said Wayne Smutz, Dean, Continuing Education and UCLA Extension. “His strategic branding and marketing expertise and success with major companies will help UCLA Extension advance our goals to grow locally, nationally, and globally.”
Buczkowski was the founder, owner and CEO of Digit Integration in Chicago, an agency known for the hyper-connected “always-on” social world, fusing big data modeling with a technology platform to publish, listen, monitor and measure. He was also founder, owner and CEO of the Ignition Network, an agency using automated promotion management. Prior to leading the Ignition Network, Buczkowski served as CEO/President at Leo Burnett/Asterisk where he directed 40 associates.
