Linda Roth Associates, Inc. announced this month the expansion of its client portfolio with new, notable clients in the agency’s hospitality, special events, and real estate practices. In May 2015, the company relocated to 2451 18th Street NW, Suite 2, in D.C. to accommodate a diversifying client roster, and is poised to continue its growth in the new year.
LRA recently became the agency of record for Kimpton Hotels’ Carlyle—Dupont Circle Hotel, and its forthcoming sister property The Glover Park Hotel, both owned by Washington, DC-based CS Bond. The hotels offer urban retreats for business and leisure guests looking to experience the diverse neighborhoods of the nation’s capital. In addition to CS Bond, LRA added the restaurant and retail brokerage firm Papadopoulos Properties to its real estate practice. Since 1984, the brokerage has helped local and national landlords, retailers, and restaurateurs find success in Washington DC, Maryland & Virginia.
This month, QSR Magazine wrote “Washington, D.C., has become a hotbed for Fast Casual 2.0 innovation,” and LRA is thrilled to add to its fast casual restaurant practice the Gaithersburg, MD-based NKD Pizza (formerly Naked Pizza), which offers shamelessly good all-natural pizza. The company operates seven locations in the US, and looks to expand to Nairobi, Dubai, and Detroit in the coming months. In February, LRA will help usher in the DMV’s 14th Smashburger location with a new restaurant in Rockville, MD.
Also in February, diners in Preston Hollow, TX, and Woodbridge, VA, can experience the new matchbox American Kitchen & Spirit, as LRA continues to assist with the brand’s national expansion. Also joining the dining scene in Woodbridge, VA, is Chuy’s, the famed Austin, TX-based Tex-Mex restaurant chain. The new location will be the fourth in Virginia and the 68th nationally for the growing, quirky, Elvis-loving brand.
For the third consecutive year, LRA will be the agency of record for The RAMMY Awards Gala, a summertime celebration of the best and brightest in metropolitan Washington’s burgeoning restaurant industry. The black tie event, hosted by Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on June 12.
To its full service restaurant practice, LRA added Ristorante Tosca, the much-lauded Italian fine dining destination in Downtown DC. Past RAMMYS finalist for Chef of the Year, Power Spot of the Year, Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year, and Wine & Beverage Program of the Year, Tosca is under the direction of Chef Matteo Venini who continues its tradition of excellence.
