The Abernathy MacGregor Group (www.abmac.com), a New York-based financial communications agency, announced that Jeremy Jacobs has joined its New York office as a Managing Director. He will report to co-Presidents Chuck Burgess and Tom Johnson.
Jacobs joins Abernathy MacGregor from FleishmanHillard, where he served for five years as a senior vice president, supporting M&A, corporate governance and financial communications for that firm’s worldwide network across a wide range of clients and industries.

Jacobs previously spent 10 years at Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher, most recently as a managing director. Before beginning his career in financial communications, Jacobs taught English literature and writing at the University of Pittsburgh, where he received his M.A. in English literature.
