Ed Harrison has joined InkHouse. While some might call him an industry veteran, we’ll do our best to eschew standard personnel press release language and focus on sharing his story, particularly his two decades of experience in B2B tech PR.
He will lead InkHouse’s enterprise technology practice on the East Coast. Given that Ed has a knack for managing people, he’ll be leading the agency’s East Coast technology staff, and helping the team extend its greatness through business development initiatives.
So let’s look at Ed’s experience. 1996 was a magical year, highlighted by the Atlanta Olympics, a Clinton overwhelmingly chosen by the American people to extend his presence in the White House, and the irrational exuberance of being able to buy pet food on the “Information Superhighway” without having to pay shipping charges.
For Ed, it was the start of a new career: twenty years ago this very week, he began his work in high-tech PR, beginning at Schwartz Communications (now MSLGroup) and DaviesMurphy Group (now part of Lewis). He spent the last 13 years as a managing partner with Boston-based boutique technology PR firm fama PR, and most recently, built a successful PR consultancy as a sole proprietor. Across these varied roles, he developed a competency for working with enterprise technology companies — from seed-backed startups to billion-dollar global organizations, across a broad range of B2B technologies.

Ed joins the team at InkHouse’s Waltham office, which services some of the world’s most innovative B2B technology companies in big data analytics, cloud security, Internet of Things (IoT), defense, mobile, healthcare, manufacturing and more. He will also join forces with InkHouse colleagues in San Francisco on national client accounts.
