Havas PR announced the addition of three new team members to its Pittsburgh office. Deanna Tomaselli joined the agency as an account supervisor, and both Catherine Clements and Megha Pai are joining as fellows.
In her new role as account supervisor, Tomaselli will contribute to several key accounts, and will also assist with new business efforts. Tomaselli has over 10 years of experience delivering strong results for media relations and social media campaigns for both business-to-business and consumer audiences. She has been named one of Pittsburgh Magazine’s 40 Under 40 and a Rising Star by PRSA Pittsburgh. Tomaselli currently serves as communications director for the PRSA Pittsburgh chapter.
“Deanna’s diverse background in both agency and corporate settings is invaluable,” said Katie McSorley, Mid-Atlantic president of Havas PR. “She has already demonstrated strong leadership and media relations skills, and we are thrilled to add her to our team.”
As a fellow, Clements will support public relations and media relations efforts for several clients. Her internship experience includes roles in both agency and non-profit settings. At WordWrite Communications, Clements assisted with media relations and content development projects for several clients, and also drove much of the firm’s marketing and social media efforts. She also held internships at Bethlen Communities and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
“Catherine’s prior internships have prepared her well for the public relations industry,” said McSorley. “We are confident she will be a valuable asset to our team.”
In her role as a fellow, Pai will support clients including Bayer AG and Covestro. Prior to joining Havas, Pai worked as a business consultant and graduate assistant at Duquesne University’s Small Business Development Center. She conducted market research, developed marketing materials and provided feedback on business plans.
“With her strong academic background and research expertise, Megha will help us continue to deliver top-notch results for our clients and our agency,” McSorley said. “We are excited to welcome Megha to the team.”
