Gould+Partners Names Matthew Schwartz Editorial Director

Gould+Partners, which specializes in PR mergers & acquisitions (M&A), management consulting and strategic planning, announced that Matthew Schwartz has been appointed to the newly created position of Editorial Director.

Schwartz, who was most recently group editor of PR News, is responsible for Gould+Partners’ editorial content. He will create, develop and distribute a wide range of PR, marketing, advertising and management related content, as well as write about and cover industry news relevant to Gould+Partners’ business.

In addition, Schwartz will develop and market branded live events and webinars encompassing multiple facets of owning and running a PR or advertising agency, ranging from profitability to retention to innovation.

“With Matthew generating a regular stream of content, we’ll be able to provide our audience with additional value and insight about what it takes to successfully run (and buy and sell) PR and advertising agencies,” said Rick Gould, managing partner of Gould+Partners. “Matthew will also help to raise our visibility and grow awareness through new events and webinars, which I’m pretty excited about.”

Prior to PR News, Schwartz was a staff reporter at Crain’s BtoB and before that a producer/writer at Fox News Channel and CNN. He is currently a contributing writer to CMO.com and BtoB Marketer Magazine.

“I’m very happy to join Rick and his team and eager to add a new dimension to the company,” said Schwartz. “I’m looking forward to working closely with Rick on developing both online and live programming, and taking what is a terrific PR management consulting firm to another level.”
