ENroute Communications, a boutique public relations and marketing agency based in New York, has been named Newcomer Agency of the Year at the first-ever North American Excellence Awards. The agency, which focuses on travel and tourism in the United States, Mexico and Canada markets, offers destination representation, hotel promotion and expertise in LGBT travel.
“We knew that we were being considered for this award, but to win the Excellence Awards in its first edition in North America is an honor for our team,” said Carlos Lopez, Owner and Director of ENroute Communications. “Being part of this historic moment in our industry, and among such important company, rewards all the work the ENroute team has done for its clients.”
ENroute Communications won this international award for the public relations work it did for clients such as the tourism boards of Quito, Ecuador and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and Costa Rican hotel association Small Distinctive Hotels. In its application for the award, the agency also included its work targeting the LGBT traveler for annual event Vallarta Pride and hotel Costa Sur Resort & Spa, both in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The agency was established by Carlos Lopez, a Mexican travel and tourism expert with more than 15 years of experience in media and trade relations.
