Allison+Partners announced the promotion of Serina Tan to general manager of the Singapore office, reflecting the integral role she has played in the agency’s growth in the region. In this elevated position, Tan will manage day-to-day operations of the Singapore office, continue to drive growth in the region and oversee a more diverse portfolio of clients.
“Since opening the office two years ago, Serina has built a team of passionate professionals, attracted an impressive and growing roster of clients and put Allison+Partners on the map in Southeast Asia,” said Andy Hardie Brown, co-founder and global chief operating officer. “She is a consummate entrepreneur and has created a vibrant platform that has us well-positioned for further expansion.”
Tan is a seasoned communications professional with 15 years of experience working with clients spanning the consumer products and services, technology, food and beverage, tourism, professional services and automotive industries. Since joining Allison+Partners in July 2014, she has driven triple-digit growth for the Singapore office, helped expand its staff to 12 employees and added several world-class clients.
Prior to Allison+Partners, Tan worked at various international PR firms, leading consumer, corporate and technology work.
“Singapore is an important hub for Allison+Partners in Asia Pacific, serving both local and multinational clients across a broad array of industries,” Tan said. “I am confident that our team’s solid track record, as well as our one P&L agency model that allows us to harness the best thinking from around the world, will help fuel our continued growth.”
