About the Trainers:

Catherine Connors is a recovering academic, absentee Canadian and unrepentant mommy blogger. She's the founder and author of HerBadMother.com, one of the Internet's original 'bad mother' blogs, and one of the top-ranked mom blogs on Babble's annual list of same. In a previous life, she taught political philosophy, which means that she can translate "Goodnight, Moon" into Latin and work Socrates into a conversation about sleep-training, although she really tries to avoid doing those things in polite company. She left Toronto and her sippy-cup-strewn home office to join Babble as Director of Community and Social Good in 2011, and only misses Canadian bacon sometimes.

A survivor of postpartum OCD, Katherine Stone launched her site Postpartum Progress (http://postpartumprogress.com) in 2004 to provide inspiration and resources to women facing postpartum depression and other mental illnesses related to pregnancy and childbirth. She has written about PPD elsewhere as a contributing expert for BlogHer, the world's top community for and guide to blogs by women, as well as for PBS' This Emotional Life website. Katherine was recently named #6 on Babble's list of the Top 100 Mom Blogs of 2011, and was also listed among the Top 50 Twitter Moms and the Top 50 Facebook Pregnancy Pages.

Christina Gleason has been blogging since before it was called blogging - when it was just called LiveJournal - but "Cutest Kid Ever" has existed as a blog for about six years, not coincidentally the age of her son. In addition to mommy blogging, Christina runs her own successful copywriting company, Phenomenal Content, and can be found live-blogging at various blog conferences each year.

In person, Liz Gumbinner is an ad agency creative director, but online, she's best known as the co-publisher and editor-in-chief of shopping and trend blog "Cool Mom Picks" and sister site "Cool Mom Tech." Called "the online arbiter of cool for the swingset crowd" by Parents Magazine, "Cool Mom Picks" has been cited as a favorite parenting blog by Real Simple, inStyle, and the Telegraph UK. Liz is also the author of the popular personal blog "Mom-101" which has been featured in the New York Times, CNN and on NPR, and called "funny some of the time" by an enthusiastic anonymous commenter.
