MWW Group Appoints Herrick as COO

MWW Group (www.mww.com) announced that David Herrick has been appointed chief operating officer. In this new role, Herrick will work closely with MWW President and CEO Michael Kempner and the senior leadership team to enhance MWW culture, client service and growth. Herrick will also continue to serve as general manager of MWW's New York City office.

Herrick has been with MWW since 2010, serving most recently as executive vice president, general manager of MWW's New York office. As COO, Herrick will assume management responsibilities for several additional MWW offices, including Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. He will continue to be active in his role as executive vice president, providing counsel to many of the company's flagship clients.

"It is with great pride and appreciation that I appoint David Herrick as chief operating officer of MWW," said Kempner. "As COO, David will assume key management responsibility for many of our offices, bringing his unique strengths in organizational management and client service to help build a bigger, better and even more exciting future for MWW."

As general manager of the New York office, Herrick has overseen the office's relocation to New York City's Flatiron district where the firm has grown by more than 50% in the past 18 months. In addition to his operations role, Herrick has also been heavily involved in the strategy and integrated marketing programs of several of the firm's most prestigious clients.

Herrick joined MWW with more than two decades of agency and in-house experience including senior-level positions at Kaplow Communications, The Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and Ruder Finn.
