Media Vet Deligiannakis Joins Widmeyer as Senior Associate in Pre-K-12 Education Practice

Tatiana Deligiannakis has joined Widmeyer Communications (www.widmeyer.com) as a senior associate in the firm's Pre-K-12 Education practice. Deligiannakis comes to Widmeyer with over 10 years of communications and media experience as both a reporter for the New York Post and communications director for a New York City council member. Based in New York City, she will expand the firm's already deep bench and contribute to its work with a wide array of clients in education, arts and culture.

"Tatiana comes to Widmeyer already a highly respected communicator with unique experience as both a member of the media and as a public relations practitioner," said Daniel Kaufman, who oversees the firm's Pre-K-12 education practice. "We know that she will be a fantastic addition to the Widmeyer team."

Most recently, Deligiannakis served as communications director for New York City Council Member Peter F. Vallone Jr., Chair of the New York City Council's Public Safety Committee. Previously, Deligiannakis worked as a reporter with the New York Post, where she covered breaking news and later earned a position at the criminal justice bureau at 1 Police Plaza.
