The Marketing Arm Names Schlachter Executive Vice President For Sports

The Marketing Arm (www.themarketingarm.com), a next-generation promotion agency, announced that Jordan Schlachter has been named Executive Vice President for the agency's sports marketing and sponsorship consulting practice, a new position at the company.

In his new role, Schlachter will partner with Dan Belmont, President of The Marketing Arm, to co-manage the agency's sports practice while leading new business efforts for the group.

"Jordan's experience provides him with a clear understanding of how sports and entertainment can provide an emotionally-powerful business platform that -- when harnessed strategically and integrated with branded content, digital word of mouth, mobile and experiential activation -- can drive and define brands," said Belmont. "The key is delivering fully-integrated marketing programs for our clients, from negotiating the deal, to concepting promotional plans, to execution down to the store and local level."

Schlachter joins The Marketing Arm from Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, where he was Vice President for Integrated Media and Marketing, tasked with packaging Clear Channel assets into effective and attractive marketing and media solutions for top advertisers.

"With a 35-year history in sponsorship and activation, a client roster that features some of the world's best-known brands, and a culture that has maintained an unwavering commitment to creativity, when it comes to providing big ideas and seamless integration, few agencies shine more brightly in sports consulting than The Marketing Arm," said Schlachter. "I'm excited to be here."
