Kranhold Joins Edelman Los Angeles as Executive Vice President

Edelman (www.edelman.com) announced that Kathryn Kranhold will join Edelman as executive vice president in the Los Angeles office, effective March 1. In her new role, Kranhold will drive reputation and crisis management and financial and investor relations positioning. Kranhold will report directly to James Williams, general manager.

"Kathryn has a proven track record as a strategic communications professional and former financial journalist," said Williams. "She has expertise across multiple industries and will complement our growing issues management and financial relations offerings in the Los Angeles office."

Most recently, Kranhold consulted with Brunswick Group, advising and managing crisis, litigation and corporate reputation programs. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications at Walt Disney Company where she worked closely with the investor relations and legal teams and business segments to develop effective communications strategies around financial reporting, corporate governance, shareholder and management matters and other high-visibility issues.
