Franco Public Relations Group Selected By GM Renaissance Center

Franco Public Relations Group (www.franco.com), a Detroit-based, full-service public relations agency, announces the addition of CBRE Group Inc., and specifically the GM Renaissance Center, to its roster of social media clients.

Franco has established a multi-faceted digital strategy for the GM Renaissance Center that includes a new presence with management of accounts on Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and, soon, Foursquare. Visitors and tenants can interact with the CBRE-managed Detroit landmark, often referred to as the GM Ren Cen, in a myriad of ways.

Building on expertise from other social accounts, including Buddy's Pizza, Hard Rock Cafe Seattle, Village of Milford and Delta Dental in seven states, the Franco social media staff monitor, curate content and work with CBRE to foster a responsive online experience across all channels.

Todd Pardon, director, CBRE Asset Services, who manages the GM Renaissance Center account stated, "We value the City of Detroit and consider it an interactive hub where Detroiters and visitors can learn more about the GM Renaissance Center and its surroundings. As a beacon in the city of Detroit we hope to emanate that presence online with social media."

"Founded in 1964, Franco Public Relations Group was has strong roots in Detroit as well as right here in the GM Renaissance Center," said Maria Leonhauser, president. "We bring not only the creativity and experience necessary to foster a social media-focused account like this one, but a true understanding of the building and its meaningful place within the city. We look forward to working with CBRE to make the GM Ren Cen accessible in new and innovative ways."
