"At a time when copyright law is evolving rapidly and successful management of content licensing has become a critical issue within the industry, Dawn's vast experience will be a key advantage for Cision," said Peter Granat, Chief Executive Officer of Cision North America.

Conway is an attorney and member of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. "Cision must meet the daily needs of its customers to publish, share and distribute content in multiple ways, but at the same time it must protect the intellectual property rights of the copyright holder," Conway said. "I look forward to accelerating Cision's efforts to work with other industry leaders on innovative new compliance models that will meet the evolving needs of both content consumers and publishers."
