BrightLine Names Pearson Director of Corporate Communications
BrightLine, a global provider of interactive television solutions for entertainment and advertising, announced that James A. Pearson has joined the company as director of corporate communications. Pearson will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing BrightLine's global corporate communications and marketing strategy.
"While others waited for the industry and platforms to evolve, we created and implemented close to 500 successful, cross-platform, interactive advertising experiences generating tangible brand loyalty," said Jacqueline Corbelli, co-founder and CEO, BrightLine. "This appointment represents our renewed commitment to create global media visibility of how BrightLine is transforming traditional 30-second TV commercials into engaging brand destinations for consumers."
Pearson began his career in media working for Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios Inc. and John Hughes, Hughes Entertainment. He also served as director of public relations for Internet pioneer Razorfish, vice president at Rubenstein Associates and as director of corporate communications at Audible.com, before, during and after the company was acquired by Amazon.com.
