Affect Strategies (www.affectstrategies.com), a public relations and strategic marketing firm specializing in technology, announced that ASME, the world's leading professional association for mechanical engineers, has chosen Affect Strategies to serve as public relations agency of record. Affect Strategies will increase awareness and recognition for ASME by drawing attention to the association's educational and technical services, career and professional development opportunities, and forums, conferences and networking programs. The agency will also promote ASME's expertise on critical issues such as renewable energy, green technologies, sustainable development and public safety.

We believe that Affect Strategies will play a critical role in helping ASME attract new talent to the field of engineering and raise awareness of the importance of engineering in the technological advancement of our society."

"We are proud to be working with such an influential organization in the engineering industry," said Sandra Fathi, president of Affect Strategies. "ASME is working on some of the most innovative and inspiring projects in the field of modern technology from its Energy Grand Challenge to the Human Powered Vehicle and Innovation Showcase. This is the kind of work that tech geek like us dream about.
